Temporary Closure of Southwick Road and Butt Lake Road Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Southwick Road - from the junction with Tilehouse Road, westwards for 450 metres - works will take place on 31st January - 1st February 2022 and again on 17th -18th February 2022; and Butt Lake Road - from the junction with Yardwall Road, south eastwards for 300 metres - works will take place on 4th - 5th February 2022 and again on 28th February -1 st March 2022. A total distance of 750 metres. This Order will enable Balfour Beatty to carry out phased netting and de netting scaffolding works on behalf of National Grid. The Order becomes effective on 11 th Janaury 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
