Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Barton Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 10 January 2022 Coming into force: 17 January 2022 This Order is being introduced because of gas mains replacement works which are anticipated to be completed 25 March 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Barton Lane in 2 phases. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via -Phase 1: Barton Road, Hawthorn Avenue, Chestnut Avenue. Phase 2: Barton Road, London Road, Old High Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9610/AC)

North Hinksey, North Hinksey Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 20 December 2021 Coming into force: 3 January 2022 This Order is being introduced because of Gas utility connection works which are anticipated to be completed 4 February 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the western section of North Hinksey Lane between its junctions with West Way and Curtis Industrial Estate. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route is via West Way and the eastern section of North Hinksey Lane and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.
