(Braxted Road, Little Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Braxted Road, Little Braxted in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Beacons Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M24639 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while interim to permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Braxted Road, Beacons Lane, Beacon Hill, Kelvedon Road, Heath Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Foxhall Road, Mayland/Steeple/Soutiiminster) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Foxhall Road, MaylandV Steeple/Southminster in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 895m east of its junction with Mayland Hill for a distance of approximately 825m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA54091375 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Foxhall Road, Highlands Hill, Green Lane, Grange Avenue, Bumham Road - B1018, Main Road, Southminster Road, Scotts Hill, David Fisher Way, Queen Street, Pantile Hill, High Street, Queenborough Road, North End, Cripplegate, Tillingham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mayland
Hill, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 20m north of its junction with Southminster Road for a distance of approximately 350m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS266686A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Southminster Road, Main Road, Bumham Road - B1018, Green Lane, Mayland Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Sheepcoates Lane, Great/Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheepcoates Lane, Great/Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 100m south west of the junction with Park Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 575m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30091708738 -JK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Sheepcoates Lane, Chigborough Road, Goldhanger Road, Colchester Road, Broad Street Green Road, Maldon Road, Hall Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) & (Market Hill, Maldon) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 tonne Weight Restriction) (No.9) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on that length of Market Hill, Maldon from its junction with Anchorage Hill for a distance of approximately 317m in a southerly direction as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Market Hill, Maldon) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2009'. "The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Areas) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions Dn the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30th December 2021 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. (Downs Road, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Downs Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Victoria Road to its junction with North Street a distance of approximately 440m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th January 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005885 - TDR Groundworks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vehicle crossover construction works are undertaken by TDR Groundworks Ltd). An alternative route is available via The Hythe, North Street, High Street, Butt Lane, Victoria Road, Downs Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Marlpits Road, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Marlpits Road, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 445m south of its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 280m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FAA4700G01 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close that length of Normandy Avenue, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Alamein Road to its junction with Dunkirk Road a distance of approximately 115m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Normandy Avenue, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Alamein Road to its junction with Mildmay Road a distance of approximately 55m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 4th January 2022 for 25 days (one closure at a time), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001111262 ? Caderrt). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. /Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheepcoates Lane, Great Totham/Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 360m south west of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M31368 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while temporary to permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Sheepcoates Lane, Church Road, Park Wood Lane, School Road, Church Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.8) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
