ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restrictions Coleshill Road and Hampton Road, Teddington
(Ref: 22/002)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate installation of underground electrical cable they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a a temporary waiting restriction in lengths of Coleshill Road and Hampton Road, Teddington.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of road:-
(a) Coleshill Road, the north to south arm;
(b) Hampton Road, between its junctions with Anlaby Road and Coleshill Road.
The restrictions shall apply at such times, and to such an extent as indicated by signs/cones.
3. The order will come into effect on 10 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 January 2022 until 6 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Cowley Road, Mortlake
(Ref: 22/001)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a suspension for a Welfare Unit in Cowley Road, Mortlake.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand adjacent to Nos. 268-272 Mortlake High Street (in Cowley Road), where indicated by traffic signs/cones on the east side, from a point 6 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Mortlake High Street southwards for a distance o1 22.5 metres,
3. The order will come into effect on 10 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 January 2022 until 23 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

Temporary Road Closure Ormond Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Ormond Road, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may:-
(a) permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Water Lane between its junction with Hill Street and The Hermitage;
(b) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the western side of Church Terrace opposite Warrington Road;
(c) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the south-western side of the Hermitage, outside Hermitage Lodge.
3. The order will come into effect on 4 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 4 January 2022 until 4 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Alternative routes for traffic affected by the closure will be available via Hill Street, George Street, A307, Paradise Road and Church Terrace and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution o1 the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time in Nelson Road, Twickenham between Nos 288 and 298 Nelson Road.
3. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

SCHOOL STREETS - VARIOUS STREETS

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 22 December 2021 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce school streets operating in the roads detailed and at the times specified in the schedule to this notice.
3. Copies of the Order which comes into force on 29 December 2021, plans showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/150, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
