Notice of Confirmation of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Extinguishment Order 2019 Footpaths 14 And 29 Harlow
On 16 October 2019 Essex County Council confirmed Hie above order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to extinguish:
Footpath 14 Harlow
A part length of Footpath 14 Harlow of unknown width commencing from a point by the roundabout, at the highway known as Gilden Way running in a generally north north westerly direction for a distance of 565 metres to a point where it meets a farm track and where it continues unaffected.
Footpath 29 Harlow
A part length of Footpath 29 Harlow commencing from a point where it meets the highway known as Marsh Lane (Footpath 35 Sheering) and running in a generally west south westerly direction for a distance of 684 metres to a point where it connects to Footpathl 84 at the footbridge and continues unaffected. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. The route was stopped up with effect from 13 November 2019, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 23 December 2021 make an application to the High Court.

(Epping Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Epping Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 430m southeast of its junction with Common Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06O43133/NG - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water. An alternative route is available via Epping Road, Parsloe Road, Paringdon Road, Millersdale, Southern Way, Water Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Gravel Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Hainault Road & Lamboume Road/Manor Road, Chigwell) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5T Weight Restriction) Order 2021

Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Gravel Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Abridge Road for a distance of approximately 1460m in a southeasterly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction in that length of Hainault Road & Lamboume Road/Manor Road, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from the junction with High Road to the junction with Gravel Lane as cited in the "Epping Forest District (Weight and Width Restrictions) (Amendment No 1) Order 1990" for the duration of the Gravel Lane road closure only.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th January 2022 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU047-AMP7-MR-GRAVEL/LN -Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Thames Water. An alternative route is available via Gravel Lane, Lamboume Road, Manor Road, Hainault Road, High Road, Abridge Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lechmere Avenue, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lechmere Avenue, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 80m northeast of its junction with Hainault Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a northeasterly then southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005830 - Galldris Group). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while site welfare installation works are undertaken by Galldris Group. An alternative route is available via The Chase, Hainault Road, Manor Road, Stanwyck Drive, Lechmere Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road to its junction with Knighton Lane a distance of approximately 74m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001105534 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. Alternative routes are available via
1. High Road, Palmerston Road, Victoria Road, Princes Road.
2. Queens Road, Victoria Road, Palmerston Road, High Road.
The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rye Hill Road, Epping Upland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Rye Hill Road, Epping Upland in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 101 Om southeast of its junction with Long Wood for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th January 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06035177/RH - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water. An alternative route is available via Rye Hill Road, Paringdon Road, Southern Way, A414 Between Southern Town Boundary and Harlow Mill Roundabout, London Road, Hastingwood Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Beaconfield Avenue, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Beaconfield Avenue, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 35m southwest of its junction with Beaconfield Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU026008110CCDS?001001 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer repair works are undertaken by Thames Water. An alternative route is available via Beaconfield Road, Beaconfield Way, Beaconfield Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Canes Lane, North Weald Bassett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Canes Lane, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hastingwood Roundabout for a distance of approximately 225m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Canes Lane, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 1730m northwest of its junction with Canes Lane Roundabout to its junction with Hastingwood Roundabout a distance of approximately 200m.

3. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stepping' in the above lengths of Canes Lane, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, for the duration of the closure only.

The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at any time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions in the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th January 2022 for 5 nights (19:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2322429 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while road lining removal and installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order came into effect on 16th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Forest Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Forest Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 85m north of its junction with Manor Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd January 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001098984 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via High Road, Chigwell Road, Cross Road, Manor Road (access only to Forest Lane) and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hoe Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Hoe Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Betts Lane for a distance of approximately 345m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS286362A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Betts Lane, Nazeing Common, Middle Street, Hoe Lane and vice versa.

(St Johns Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of St Johns Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Church Hill to its junction with Grasmere Close a distance of approximately 80m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001099968 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Church Hill, Goldings Hill, Lower Road, Clays Lane, Baldwins Hill and vice versa.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.12) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping" restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 16th December 2021, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
