NOTICE OF INCREASE IN PENALTY CHARGES FOR PARKING CONTRAVENTIONS
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Schedule 9 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 the Council of the London Borough of Barnet, following approval given by the Mayor of London and the Secretary of State for Transport, will amend the Bands set for Penalty Charges relating to enforcement of parking contraventions in the Borough.

2. The new charges, which will come into force on the 12 January 2022 are as follows: Penalty Charges for parking contraventions for all roads within the London Borough of Barnet will be increased to Band A - Higher rate £130 reduced to £65 if paid within the statutory period starting from the date of service of the Penalty Charge Notice or Lower rate £80 reduced to £40 if paid within the statutory period starting from the date of service of the Penalty Charge Notice.
