BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
The council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Temporary Prohibition of through Traffic) (Various roads, South Bucks) Order, 2021, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in various roads in [South Bucks] as specified in the Schedule below. The closures are required whilst plane and patch works take place between [3 December 2021] and [31 January 2022], The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 December 2021 and will be in effect when signed and between times as per schedule below on the days signed, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
SCHEDULE - "AR" = Alternative route White Hart Meadow, Beaconsfield for the entire length. AR-White Hart Meadow. Farnham Road, Farnham Royal from Church Road to County Boundary. AR-: A40 J M40/a412/a4020 Roundabout, Bangors Road North, Bath Road, Beaconsfield Road, Church Lane, Church Road, Collinswood Road, Denham Road, Denham Roundabout, Dorney Hill North, Dorney Hill South, Farnham Road, High Street, London Road, Oxford Road, Post Office Lane, Queensmere Road, Redhill, Skylark Road, Slough Road, Southlands Road, Uxbridge Road, Wellington Street, Windsor Road and vice versa. Colne Orchard, Iver for the entire length. AR-Colne Orchard. Wyndham Crescent, Burnham for the entire length. AR-Almond Road. Gaviots Way, Gcrrards Cross for the entire length. AR-Gaviots Way. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Crown Lane, Farnham Royal in the Parish of Burnham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Crown Lane for approximately 91m. Alternative route: Crown Lane, Thompkins Lane, East Burnham Lane, Stoney Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole testing works take place commencing on 13 December 2021 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 13 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Skirmett Road, Hambleden in the Parish of Hambleden CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Skirmett Road for approximately 200m. Alternative route: Skirmett Road, Fingest Lane, Frieth Road, Chalkpit Lane, Oxford Road, West Street, Henley Road, Harleyford and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole testing works take place commencing on 10 December 2021 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 9, Stoke Poges) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 9, Stoke Poges, for the length of the footbridge only at SU9843-8260. The closure is required in the interests of public safety whilst works to the damaged footbridge take place commencing on 10 December 2021 for 6 months. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the existing highway network. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 December 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 13, Wexham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 13, Wexham, which commences at its junction with Meadow View and continues for a distance of approximately 30m to a point south of Meadow View. The closure is required in the interests of public safety whilst works to the damaged bridge structure take place commencing on 14 December 2021 for 6 months. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be east on WEX/28/2 to Trenches Lane, then south east for 115m, then south west on WEX/26/2 for 825m to WEX/13/2. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 December 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
