BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Bridleway No. 156, High Wycombe) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle, except for access, along that length of Public Bridleway No. 156, High Wycombe, commencing at a point approximately 177m from First Street and continuing to a point approximately 221m from First Street. The closure is required whilst development works take place commencing on 1 December 2021 for 6 months. The alternative route for users affected by the closure will be via the existing Bridleway, with the crossing point to be marshalled by contractors at various points of the day. The Order came into operation on 1 December 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest. The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Station Road, Marlow in the Parish of Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Station Road for approximately 78m. Alternative route: High Street, Institute Road, Station Rise, Station Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water connections for development take place commencing on 13 December 2021. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 13 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Roberts Lane, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Roberts Lane for approximately 73m. Alternative route: Rickmansworth Lane, Denham Lane, West Hyde Lane, Roberts Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole testing works take place commencing on 3 December 2021 between 08:00 and 16:00. The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Chalkpit Lane, Marlow in the Parish of Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chalkpit Lane for approximately 42m. Alternative route: Oxford Road, West Street, Henley Road, Skirmett Road, Fingest Lane, Frieth Road, Chalkpit Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water meter exchange works take place commencing on 20 December 2021. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Temporary Prohibition of through Traffic) (Various roads, Wycombe) Order, 2021, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in various roads in [Wycombe] as specified in the Schedule below. The closures are required whilst plane and patch works take place between [3 December 2021] and [31 January 2022]. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 December 2021 and will be in effect when signed and between times as per schedule below on the days signed, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
SCHEDULE - "AR" = Alternative route. Marlow Road, High Wycombe from Desborough Avenue to Cressex Road. AR-A404 From M40 To A4155, A404 M40 J4 Roundabout, Abbey Way, Abbey Way Gyratory, Handy Cross Roundabout, M40 Junction 4 To Junction 3 On Slip, Marlow Hill, Marlow Road, Queen Alexandra Road, Queen Victoria Road and vice versa. Hawks Hill, Bourne End for the entire length. AR-Harvest Hill, Kiln Lane and vice versa. Shootacre Lane, Princes Risborough from Bledlow Road to Crossroads. AR-Bledlow Road, Lee Road, Shootacre Lane, Wycombe Road and vice versa. Owlswick Lane, Owlswick for the entire length. AR-Lower Icknield Way, Meadle Village Road, Owlswick, Stockwell Lane and vice versa. Wendover Road, Bourne End for the entire length. AR-Chapman Lane, Elm Lane, Marlow Road and vice versa. Hatch Lane, Radnage for the entire length. AR-Bottom Road, Bowers Lane, Green End Road and vice versa. Beaufort Gardens, Marlow for the
entire length. AR-Beaumont Rise, Claremont Road, Glade Road, Institute Road and vice versa. Lee Road, Saunderton from Crossroads to A4010. AR-Bradenham Road, Chinnor Road, Chorley Road, High Street, Loxborough Hill, Upper Icknield Way, West Wycombe Road, Wigans Lane, Wycombe Road and vice versa. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure.

Alternative route: Bottrells Lane, Amersham Road, Gore Hill, Amersham Bypass, London Road West, Stanley Hill, London Road East, Mill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach Tree cutting and pole testing works take place commencing on 13 December 2021 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 13 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Potkiln Lane, Jordans in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Potkiln Lane for approximately 112m. Alternative route: Oxford Road, Bulstrode Way, Bull Lane, Austenwood Lane, Gold Hill West, Grove Lane, Welders Lane, Jordans Lane, Potkiln Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead structure works take place commencing on 14 December 2021 between 09:30 and 15:30. Road closed between 09:30-15:30 only. Carriageway open at all other times. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: Riding Lane, Holtspur Lane, Holtspur Top Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead structure works take place commencing on 15 December 2021 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Woodchester Park, Knotty Green in the Parish of Perm CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Woodchester Park for approximately 48m. Alternative route: Perm Road, Woodchester Park and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection take place commencing on 13 December 2021. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 13 December 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 26, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 26, Chalfont St Peter, which commences at its junction with Joiners Lane and continues for a distance of approximately 10m. The closure is required whilst sewer repair works to defective pipework take place commencing on 10 December 2021 for 11 days. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via Joiners Lane, High Street, Chiltern Hill and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 December 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
