THE MERTON (PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE ZONE) (MALMESBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL)(NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of the Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) revoke the Merton (Pedestrian and Cycle Zone) (Malmesbury Primary School) Traffic Order 2021;
(b) re-introduce its provisions with amendments, so as to prohibit all motorised vehicles from entering the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice during the new proposed corresponding periods specified, with an exemption for authorised vehicles, including those vehicles which are specified on a white list for each road, held and maintained by the Council. Enforcement would be during school term times only.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the roads or lengths of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden. 4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to

2. ROADS - Malmesbury Road, between its junction with Newminster Road and its junction with Netley Gardens, Neath Gardens, Newminster Road.
3. PROPOSED PRESCRIBED HOURS - Between 8.15am and 9am and between 2.45pm and 3.45pm Mondays to Fridays

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) WEST BARNES LANE. KT3 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 8) ORDER 2021
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate lifting and inspection works at the northernmost level crossing on West Barnes Lane, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane between the eastern kerb-line of Burlington Road and the western kerb-line of Linkway;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in:-
(i) the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;
(ii) West Barnes Lane, both sides, between the eastern building wall of No. 50 West Barnes Lanes and its junction with Burlington Road;
(iii) Burlington Road, both sides, between its junction with West Barnes Lane and the Burlington Road Tesco supermarket exit;
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. The alternative routes for:-
(a) vehicles affected by the road closure would be via Claremont Avenue and Burlington Road, or vice versa;
(b) pedestrians affected by the road closure would be via the adjacent footbridge.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above.
7. The Order would come into operation at 1 am on Sunday 9th January 2022 and remain in force until 6am the same day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (RAYNES PARK BRIDGE AND VARIOUS ROADS. RAYNES PARK)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate bridge inspection works at the railway bridge in Raynes Park Bridge, Raynes Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Raynes Park Bridge, between its junction with Coombe Lane and its junction with Approach Road; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(i) the length of Raynes Park Bridge specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;
(ii) Approach Road, from a point 40 metres west of the western kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge eastward to a point 130 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge;
(iii) Coombe Lane, from its junction with Pepys Road to a point 30 metres west of the western kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge;
(iv) Pepys Road, from its junction with Coombe Lane to a point 70 metres north-east of the eastern kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge; or
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of Raynes Park Bridge specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceeds
(a) northbound by way of Approach Road, Kingston Road(A238), Bushey Road(A298), Beverley Way(A3) southbound, Shannon Corner, Beverley Way/Kingston Bypass(A3) northbound, Robin Hood Way, Coombe Lane West(A238), Coombe Lane Flyover and Coombe Lane; or
(b) southbound by way of Coombe Lane(A238), Beverley Way/Kingston Bypass(A3), Bushey Road(A298), Kingston Road(A238) and Approach Road.
5. Pedestrian traffic affected by the road and footway closures should proceed using Approach Road, Station Approach, the underpass at Raynes Park Station and Coombe Lane.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 15th December 2021 and remain in force for 3 months. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out overnight.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CROOKED BILLET. WIMBLEDON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water metre installations and associated works in Crooked Billet, SW19; they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Crooked Billet, the north arm, which includes No. 1 to 8 Crooked Billet; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length or road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Woodhayes Road.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into force on Wednesday 5th January 2022 would remain in force for a period of 3 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (CRANMER ROAD. CRICKET GREEN AND MADEIRA ROAD. MITCHAM) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and associated works at the junction of Cricket Green with Cranmer Road and Madeira Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:
(a) proceed in:
(i) Cranmer Road, from its junction with Cricket Green south-eastwards for a distance of 30 metres;
(ii) Cricket Green, the main arm, between its junction with Cranmer Road and its junction with Cricket Green, the north-east arm;
(iii) Madeira Road, from its junction with Cricket Green eastward for a distance of 50 metres;
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraphs (a)(i) to (iii) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closures should proceed by way of Carshalton Road, Commonside West, Upper Green East and London Road, or by way of London Road, Lower Green West, London Road, Raleigh Gardens, Upper Green West, Upper Green East, Commonside West and Carshalton Road.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(i) to (iii) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 15th December 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be take place between 9pm that evening and 4am the following morning. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended) VARIOUS ROADS BOROUGH-WIDE GULLY CLEANSING (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable gully cleansing works to be undertaken, they have made an Order to restrict parking on lengths of the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. During the works no person shall cause or permit any unauthorised vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in various lengths of the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Existing marked parking places in the various lengths of said roads will be suspended.
Note: The works are expected to commence on 3 December 2021 and be carried out on a rolling basis. Warning signs will be posted on the road 3 days before the works are expected to take place and cones will be put in place the day before. The works are expected to take 1 day on each road, but may take longer if there are any unforeseen circumstances or poor weather conditions.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as indicated by the placing of prescribed signs.
4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or
(b) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. The Order will come in operation on 3 December 2021, and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
