ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
THE A1(M) MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 51) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A1 (M) Motorway, in the County of North Yorkshire, to enable pavement survey works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Monday 6 December for 1 night or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close, the A1 (M) southbound exit slip road at Junction 51 (Leeming), during which times a suitably signed alternative route will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 5 December 2021 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
