TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited (a) intends to vary The A27 Trunk Road (Hangleton, Coldean) (Temporary Restriction and Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021(b) originally made on 16th August 2021. The effect of the Variation Order would be to authorise a 24-hour 50 mph restriction on the eastbound carriageway of the A27 between a point approximately 1450 metres east of the centreline of the overbridge at Patcham Interchange (A23) and Southerham Roundabout (A26), in addition to the existing westbound provision. This measure would be in the interests of road safety.
The variation would come into force on 18th December 2021.
