(Pebmarsh Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pebmarsh Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 21 Om in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th December 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWC6D1J2D001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while joint box replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Pebmarsh Road, Church Street, Station Road, Elms Hall Road, The Green, Halstead Road, Stonebridge Hill, Parley Beams, Colchester Road, Head Street, Sudbury Road, Collins Road, Oak Road, Birchleys Road, Levitts Corner, Colne Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Toppesfield Road, Great Yeldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Toppesfield Road, Great Yeldham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 423m south west of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 240m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd December 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS185000 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Toppesfield Road, Great Yeldham Road, The Causeway, The Street, Church Lane, Stambourne Road, Ridgewell Road, Church Road, Bridge Street, High Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
