Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999
Publication of an Environmental Statement in connection with an application for consent to carry out deforestation at Purbeck, Dorset, to restore areas of lowland heath and mire habitat was advertised in this newspaper on 9 Oct 2013 in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) (Forestry) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999 (Section 13). Forest Services (part of the Forestry Commission responsible for the EIA regulations) have now considered an analysis of the proposal's impacts set out in an Environmental Statement and comments received through the consultation advertised on 9 Oct 2013. In light of this information Forest Services have determined to give consent for the proposals subject to conditions.

If you would like to appeal against the granting of this consent, you must make an application to the High Court (England and Wales). This must be submitted within six weeks from today.
