NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
Proposed development at: Queensmere Shopping Centre, High Street, Slough SL1 1LN
The application has been submitted by the applicant GREEN MONARCH B1 2016 LIMITED and GREEN MONARCH B2 2016 LIMITED (as general partner of the Green Monarch ZC 2016 LP), which is the owner of the Queensmere Shopping Centre. British Land Property Management act as Development and Asset Manager for the Queensmere Shopping Centre on behalf of the Applicant. Iceni Projects Limited act as Agent on behalf of the Applicant.
It has been submitted to: Slough Borough Council - Observatory House, 25 Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 2EL (c/o Neil Button -Development Management Lead).
It seeks permission for: "Outline application (with all matters reserved) for the demolition of buildings and the phased redevelopment of the site to provide a mixed-use scheme comprising residential (C3 and potential for C2); flexible commercial town centre use floor space (Use Class E and Use Class F), supporting sui-generis town centre use (a range of the following uses: pubs, wine bars, hot food take away), sui generis leisure use (the potential for a cinema or live music venue); potential creation of basements, car and cycle parking; site wide landscaping and associated servicing, associated infrastructure, energy generation requirements and highway works".
Any owner* or tenant** of the land who wishes to make representations about this application, should write to the council at Observatory House, 25 Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 2EL within 21 days of the date of this notice, which is 17th November 2021.
"Owner' means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest, the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years. "'Tenant' means a tenant of an agricultural holding, any part of which is comprised in the land
Statement of owners' rights
The grant of planning permission does not affect owners' rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or in a lease.
Statement of agricultural tenants' rights
The grant of planning permission for non-agricultural development may affect agricultural tenants' security of tenure.
