TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER - ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (DISABLED STREET PARKING - HELENSBURGH - LOMOND) (VARIATION) (NO.3) ORDER 2022
On Thursday the 4th of November 2021, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which comes into operation on 10th of January 2022, made an amendment to an existing Order in accordance with the introduction of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places (Scotland) Act 2009 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to make it an offence for anyone to park in the marked disabled persons' parking places unless they are the holder of a valid blue badge and are using it in accordance with the terms of the national blue badge legislation.
This order affects the following streets in GARELOCHEAD - Queens Crescent; HELENSBURGH - Adelaide Street; Ardencaple Quadrant; Ben Bouie Drive; East Clyde Street; East Princes Street; Hood Court; Johnson Court; West King Street; RHU - Rowmore Quay; ROSENEATH - Court Hill Road; Glachan Road; SUCCOTH - Glenloin Crescent

Any person, who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 18th November 2021, apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
