Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under section S84, S81, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996, and S90A-F of the Highways Act 1980.
Effect of the order:
To Implement 20mph Zone on the following roads

(Collins Road, Little Maplestead) (Temporary Prohibition
of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily close that length of Collins Road, Little Maplestead in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Sudbury Road for a distance of approximately 150m in an eastedy direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th December 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30093981698 -JK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Sudbury Road, Catley Cross, Twinstead Road, Oak Road, Collins Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 25th November 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kings Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kings Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with A120 (Coggeshall Road) to the junctions with Rectory Road/The Street a distance of approximately 2535m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th December 2021 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320449 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Mill Chase, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Chase, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Head Street for a distance of approximately 140m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th December 2021 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA18000000803 - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with
appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. An alternative route is available via Head Street, Hedingham Road, Mill Chase and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th November 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Prayors Hill, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition
of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Prayors Hill, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 175m north west of its junction with Wethersfield Road for a distance of approximately 190m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th December 2021 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010651564 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Carters Road, Morris Green Road, Wethersfield Road, Almshouse Green, Prayors Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 25th November 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(White House Road, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of White House Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Kentish Farm Road to its junction with Madgements Road a distance of approximately 680m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th December 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320847 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point 165m south west of its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 285m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC7RKN0BA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by Openreach.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Doghouse Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 160m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd December 2021 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT009-E-TYRC-01 - Gigaclear Ltd). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Head Street, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chipping Hill to its junction with Mill Chase a distance of approximately 95m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th December 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30000472087 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Kerami Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kerami Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Priors Green to its junction with Moat Road a distance of approximately 320m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th November 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT014-E-HHGABE -Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. An alternative route is available via Folly Green, Tumblers Green, Priors Green and vice versa.

(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit)
& (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.21) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on that length of road as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence after 11th November 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety cf the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear. The Order came into effect on 11th November 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
