THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN
(OLD BANK LANE, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to close Old Bank Lane from its junction with Haslingden Road to its junction with Observatory Road. The closure is necessary for the following reason: GD3 - Roundabout Construction.
The Order will come into force on 12th November 2021 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3rd December 2021.
The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Haslingden Road, Brandy House Brow, Old Bank Lane.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
