ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restrictions Fife Road, East Sheen
(Ref: 21/195)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a power connection works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce waiting restrictions in Fife Road, East Sheen.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Fife Road between a point outside No. 22 Fife Road and a point outside No. 58 Fife Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 15 November 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 15 November 2021 until 25 November 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Second Avenue, Mortlake

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a suspension for a Welfare Unit in Second Avenue, Mortlake.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand adjacent to Nos. 310-314 Mortlake High Street (in Second Avenue), where indicated by traffic signs/cones:-
3. The order will come into effect on 22 November 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 22 November 2021 until 7 January 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (SPECIAL EVENTS) (REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY) ORDER 2021 REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMEMORATIONS (Reference 21/190)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice that on 8 November 2021 they made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The purpose of the Order is to facilitate the holding of Remembrance Sunday commemorations. The Order will be in force on Sunday 14 November 2021 only.
3. The effects of the Order are that whilst the events are taking place, the restrictions detailed in the Schedule to this Notice shall be in force in the roads specified at the times stated.
4. Nothing in this Order will apply to:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. The prohibitions or restrictions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Various Christmas Events across the Borough (Ref 21/196)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 8 November 2021 made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the order is to facilitate the holding of Christmas events in various borough roads.
3. During the dates and times specified in the schedule, no vehicle will be permitted to enter, proceed, wait or stand in the length of street described, where relevant signs and/or cones are placed.
4. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. Copies of the Order: -
(a) can be inspected for a period of 6 weeks by quoting 21 /196 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at
