HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MIMMS LANE, RIDGE) ORDER 2021
NOTICE Is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mimms Lane, Ridge from its junction with Packhorse Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Deeves Hall Lane, a distance of approximately 437m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Packhorse Lane, B556 St Albans Road, Blanche Lane and Earls Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 December 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN EARLS LANE, SOUTH MIMMS) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Earls Lane, South Mimms from its junction with the Blanche Lane roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 651 m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Blanche Lane, Crossoaks Lane, Summerhouse Lane, Holmshill Lane, Rowley Lane, Well End Road, Silver Hill, London Road, B5378 London Road, Harris Lane, Mimms line and Earls Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 November 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Orders may be Inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
