ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION
14(1) WEST BARNES LANE, KT3 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 6) ORDER 2021
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate lifting and inspection works at the northernmost level crossing on West Barnes Lane, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2.Whilst the works take place, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane between the eastern kerb-line of Burlington Road and the western kerb-line of Linkway;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. The alternative routes for:-
(a) vehicles affected by the road closure will be via Claremont Avenue and Burlington Road, or vice versa;
(b) pedestrians affected by the road closure will be via the adjacent footbridge.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply: -
(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above.
7. The Order will come into operation at 11pm on Monday 15th November 2021 and remain in force until 6am on Friday 19th November 2021. The works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 nights between the hours of 11pm and 6am the following day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) HOME PARK ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice, that to facilitate reservoir safety works to Wimbledon Park lake, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Home Park Road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(a) Home Park Road, the north-west side, from a point 12 metres north-east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 55 and 57 Home Park Road south-westward for a distance of 23 metres;
(b) Home Park Road, the south-east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 55 and 57 Home Park Road south-westward for a distance of 11 metres.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 8th November 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) WYDELL CLOSE, MORDEN (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate construction works at No. 356 Garth Road, Morden, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Wydell Close.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Wydell Close, both sides, between its junction with Garth Road and the western boundary of No. 1 Wydell Close; or
(b) enter or proceed on the footway in Wydell Close, the north side, between its junction with Garth Road and the western boundary of No. 1 Wydell Close.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person engaged in the execution of the said works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Friday 5 November 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

14(1) WANDLE ROAD, SM4 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and associated works at the junction of Wandle Road with Bishopsford Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Wandle Road.

2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Wandle Road from the north-western kerb-line of Bishopsford Road, westward for a distance of 40 metres; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Wandle Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via:
(a) Bishopsford Road, the Rosehill Roundabout, St Helier Avenue, the Morden Hall Roundabout, Morden Road and Wandle Road or vice-versa, or
(b) Bishopsford Road, London Road, Morden Road and Wandle Road or vice-versa.
4. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be Indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5.Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the restricted road or length of road Insofar as access is reasonably practicable without Interference with the said works.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction Imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 15th November 2021 and it is anticipated that the works would be carried out over a 5 day period before the end of the year. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months and its provisions would be re-introduced should further works be required.
