Public Exhibition Povington East extension to Povington Pit Imerys Minerals Ltd is holding a public exhibition of proposals for the company's future investment in Dorset Ball Clays through a planned extension at Povington Pit, West Creech, near Wareham. Povington is one of five pits operated by Imerys in the Wareham area, where the company has operated for more than 40 years and has a central storage and processing works at Furzebrook.
