The Isle of Wight Council's Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -The Isle of Wight Council (Crescent Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 08 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 19 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Crescent Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Simeon Path, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 08 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 19 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Simeon Path between its junctions with Nunwell Street and Station Approach. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 05 November 2021 and Friday 17 December 2021 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 6 weeks, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may Include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

The Isle of Wight Council (Albert Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2021 - Albert Road between its junctions with Garfield Road and Hatherton Road.
