SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Butterfurlong Road (Part), Grimstead; from its junction with Green Drove to its junction with Chapel Hill to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out works to railway bridge. Alternative route via Butterfurlong Road (unaffected length) - Dean Road -Grimstead Road - Chapel Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 November 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. B) Hindon Lane (Part), Tisbury; from its junction with Grosvenor Drive to outside the property known as Home Glen to enable BT to carry out works on underground network. Alternative route via Hindon Lane (unaffected length) - C43 - Windlestraw Lane - Hatch Lane -Tuckingmill - vicarage Road - C25 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 November 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. C) C25 Jobbers Lane (Part), Tisbury; for a distance of approximately 100m covering the Rail Bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge examination and associated works. Alternative route via C25 (unaffected length) -C318-C24-C25 (unaffected length and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 November 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 1 day. D) Groveley Road, Barford St Martin; from its junction with B3089 for its entire length to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 27 November 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 03 December 2021. E) Stratford Tony Road (Part), Coombe Bissett; from its junction with Drove Lane to the entrance to property known as Northfleld House to enable BT to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C12 (unaffected length) - C320 - Race Plain Road - A3094 - A354 - Stratford Tony Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 November 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Orders A) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
