THE MERTON (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (COMMONSIDE EAST) (NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, on 26 October 2021, made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of the Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers, so as to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the Merton (Prescribed Route) (Commonside East) Experimental Traffic Order 2020.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to continue in force indefinitely the point closure in Commonside East and prohibit vehicles, except pedal cycles, from entering that length of Commonside East which lies from a point 2 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Spencer Road, south-eastward for a distance of 2 metres.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 8 November 2021, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

WIDTH RESTRICTION - COMMONSIDE EAST
THE MERTON (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (COMMONSIDE EAST) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, on 26 October 2021, made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to revoke the London Borough of Merton (Prescribed Route) (No. 24) Traffic Order 1988 and re-introduce its provisions with amendments to more accurately reflect the location of the 7 feet maximum width restriction in Commonside East which lies in the said road from a point 28.8 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Windmill Road north-westward for a distance of 6 metres and specify that buses and certain other vehicles are exempted from the provisions of the Order.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 8 November 2021 and other documents, including a plan, giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at: Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey SM4 5DX. THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (CH) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2021 THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CH) (NO. 2) ORDER 2021 THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 498) ORDER 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 25 October 2021, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the 'CH Parking Places' Order will be to amend the Merton (Parking Places) (CH) Order 2019 so as to:
(a) extend the controlled parking zone 'CH' to include Nos. 2 to 86 Hillcross Avenue and Nos. 1 to 113 Hillcross Avenue;
(b) designate parking places that will operate Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 11 am and 3pm inclusive in certain lengths of the extents of street specified in the Schedule to this notice, subject to the standard 'CH' controlled parking zone permits and charges.
3. The general effect of the 'CH Waiting and Loading' Order will be to revoke the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (CH) Order 2019 and re-apply its provisions with amendments so as to introduce waiting restrictions operating "at any time'' or between the hours of 11 am and 3pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive in the street or lengths of street listed in the Schedule to this notice.
4. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading Amendment' Order would be to further amend the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so as to remove any references to waiting restrictions in that Order to the street or lengths of street listed in the Schedule to this notice.
5. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 1 November 2021, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the street or lengths of street to which the Orders relate, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays inclusive during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
6. The general effect of the Orders will be to convert sections of existing parking places in lengths of roads generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations to facilitate vehicle crossovers.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
COMMONSIDE EAST. MITCHAM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works in Commonside East, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in said road.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) wait in Commonside East, Mitcham, the north-east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 145 and 159 Commonside East southeastward for a distance of 19 metres;
(b) wait in Commonside East, Mitcham, the north-east side, from a point 19 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 145 and 159 Commonside East to a point 7 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Hallowell Close, unless the vehicle displays a relevant MTC2 CPZ permit.
3. The school street prohibition of traffic in Commonside East will not apply during the local school holidays.
4. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
5. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 1st November 2021 and remain in force for 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
HOME PARK ROAD. SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice, that to facilitate reservoir safety works to Wimbledon Park lake, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Home Park Road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(a) Home Park Road, the north-west side, from a point 12 metres northeast of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 55 and 57 Home Park Road south-westward for a distance of 23 metres;
(b) Home Park Road, the south-east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 55 and 57 Home Park Road south-westward for a distance of 11 metres.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
