ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Restricitons Various Roads in the Borough
(Reference 21/186)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to Introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic In various streets.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle wait or stand In the roads detailed In the schedule, between the dates Indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 4 November 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 4 November 2021 until 28 April 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Bushwood Road, Kew
(Ref: 21/188)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Bushwood Road, Kew.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Bushwood Road between its junction with Watcombe Cottages and a point outside No. 40 Bushwood Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 12 November 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 9.30am and 3.30pm on 12 November 2021 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bushwood Road, Forest Road, Priory Road and Maze Road, Kew.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Footpath Closure PROW No. 55 The Thames Towpath, Barnes

(Ref: 21/191)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate essential safety arboriculture works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a towpath closure in a length of the Thames Towpath, Barnes PROW 55.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may proceed in PROW55, Thames Towpath, between Castelnau and PROW 56/ Ferry Lane.

3. The order will come into effect on 8 November 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 8 November 2021 and 22 November 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works. When possible, the towpath will be open at weekends.

4. An alternative route for persons affected by the closure will be available via Castelnau, Lonsdale Road, Ferry Lane and PROW 56, and vice versa

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 16A
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (SPECIAL EVENTS) (VARIOUS STREET PARTIES) (NO. 4) ORDER 2021 VARIOUS STREETS ON THE BOROUGH
(Reference 21/192)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the 25 October 2021 made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of this Order is to facilitate the holding of a street party in various streets to allow residents to celebrate a special event within their community.

3. The streets which will be closed are listed in the Schedule to this notice. Full details of the lengths of street which will be closed and times when the closure will be in force will be contained in the order referred to in the next paragraph.

4. Copies of the Order: -

(a) can be inspected until 31 December 2021, quoting Reference 21/192 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time in Strawberry Vale, Twickenham Road and Manor Road, between Michelham Gardens and Ferry Road.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Church Street between its junctions with Johnson Drive and Thames Street.

3. The order will come into effect on 10 November 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 7.00pm and 11.00 pm 10 November 2021 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via High Street Hampton.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
