SOUTHEND-ON-SEA BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (HALLOWEEN PARADE) ORDER 2021
Notice is given that the Council has made the above Order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 to facilitate holding The Southend Halloween Parade on 30 October 2021. The Notice comes into force on 30 October 2021 at 4pm and will continue in operation until 10pm.
1. The effect of this Order is to introduce:

a) Prohibition of motor vehicles along the Principal Event Route in Schedule 1 including the affected junctions to side roads.

b) Prohibition of motor vehicles stopping and waiting along the Principal Event Route in Schedule 1.

c) Two-way working to facilitate access included in Schedule 2.

2. The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs. The diversions and the traffic management controls being applied will be as laid outon-street.

3. Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles, official parade vehicles, pedestrians, and access to nearby properties.
