Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council Intends to make the above Order, under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (4), 3(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act.
Details of the Structural Weight Limit Restriction on the following lengths of road in the District of Colchester, as described below:
Effect of the Order: To revoke in its entirety, an existing 8 tonne Order ('The Essex County Council (Wormingford Bridge, Wormingford) (Weight Restriction) Order 1993') and to introduce a 7.5 tonne Structural Weight Restriction Order which is currently on the length of road in the District of Colchester as detailed below:
Mill Hill - from a point 100 metres north-west of its junction with Church Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 15 meters (i.e., the length of the road that is carried by Wormingford Bridge over the River Stour).

(Various Roads (Wyvern Farm), (Stanway) (20mph Zone) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council Has Made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of roads (Wyvem Farm), Stanway in the Borough of Colchester:
Road Description
Cheetah Chase For its entire length.
Flamingo Crescent From a point approximately 6 metres north west from its junction with Wombat Street.
Giraffe Row For its entire length.
Hyena Drive For its entire length.
Komodo Drive For its entire length.
Lemur Lane For its entire length.
Leopard Gardens  From a point approximately 2 metres east from its junction with Sealion Approach for its entire
remaining length.
Meerkat Mews For its entire length.
Ostrich Street From a point approximately 7 metres north from its junction with London Road for its entire remaining length.
Otter Place For its entire length.
Penguin Parade From a point approximately 5 metres north east from its junction with Red Panda Road for its
entire remaining length.
Rhino Drive From a point approximately 2 metres west from its junction with Sealion Approach for its entire
remaining length.
Sealion Approach From its junction with Ostrich Street, north west for approximately 24 metres. Wallaby Way For its entire length.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 01 November 2021.

Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Fossetts Lane, Fordham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Fossetts Lane, Fordham in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Mill Road for a distance of approximately 1230m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th November 2021 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5001CCESSA1A003109 - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Moat Road, Rams Farm Road, Fossetts Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Heath Road, Fordham Heath) (Temporary Prohibition
of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Heath Road, Fordham Heath in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Wood Lane to its junction with Spring Lane a distance of approximately 930m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th November 2021 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320156 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Wood Lane, Halstead Road, Spring Lane, Heath Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 28th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(High Road, Layer-de-la-Haye) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of High Road, Layer-de-la-Haye in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 155m south west of its junction with The Folly for a distance of approximately 120m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th November 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010634854/1 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Lexden Road, West Bergholt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Lexden Road, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 145m south of its junction with Hall Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC1170000000000153101DNO - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Newbridge Road, Layer Niamey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Newbridge Road, Layer Mamey in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 580m south west of its junction with Stockhouse Road for a distance of approximately 240m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS97208 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Oak Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Kelvedon Road tor a distance of approximately 95m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th November 2021 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD02310639746/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety Df the public and workforce while mains reinforcement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Road, Townsend Road, Oak Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 28th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 360m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th November 2021 for 40 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD044WAT-07539-02 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains extension works are undertaken by Anglian Water. (Chappel Hill, Chappel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chappel Hill, Chappel in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m north east of its junction with Oak Road for a distance of approximately 375m in a northerly direction. (Crown Lane, Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crown Lane, Tendring in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 350m north of its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30005960742 -UK Power Networks). (Long Road West, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (The Heath/Castle Hill, Dedham & Ardleigh Road, Dedham) (Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Long Road West, Dedham in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Ardleigh Road to its junction with Long Road East a distance of approximately 1370m.
2. To temporarily suspend the weight restriction in that length of The Heath/Castle Hill, Dedham, in the Borough of Colchester from the junction with Long Road East to the junction with East Lane, and Ardleigh Road, Dedham from its junction with Birchwood Road to its junction with Long Road East as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Various Roads at Ardleigh, Dedham and Lawford) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1989' All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force for the duration of the above closure only.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st November 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2319552 -Essex County Council). (Maldon Road, Stanway) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in that length of Maldon Road, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from the point of the current 30mph speed limit (near Warren Lane) for a distance of approximately 600m in an easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 29th October 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320122 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
