POOLE HILL - RESURFACING WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Chrlstchurch and Poole Council In exercise of Its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT AND WHERE:
- Poole Hill, closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time, from St. Michael's roundabout to Terrace Road
- West Hill Road, Mannington Place, St Michael's Road and Norwich Road, closed at their respective junctions with Poole Hill and Commercial Road
- Commercial Road, closed at its junction with Terrace Road
- The Triangle, closed at its junction with Commercial Road
- Suspension of the one-way traffic order on St Michael's Road, from Its Junction with Commercial Road to Its Junction with Purbeck Road, to allow for a diversion route
- Suspension of the one-way traffic order on Norwich Road, between its junction with Commercial Road to property no.40, to allow for a diversion route
- Suspension of the one-way traffic order on the Triangle, to allow for a diversion route
- Suspension of the no entry traffic order on Norwich Road, at Its Junction with Upper Norwich Road, to allow for a diversion route
WHY: To enable resurfacing works on the highway, to be carried out by Miles Macadam, on behalf of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council
WHEN: Anticipated dates - 18th October 2021 until 31st October 2021
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be In effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any Inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
