The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Westdean Lane, Chartridge in the Parish of Chartridge CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Westdean Lane for approximately 612m. Alternative route: Pednor Road, Church Street, St Marys Way, Park Road, Chartridge Lane, Berkeley Avenue and vice versa. The closure is required whilst drainage works take place commencing on 8 November 2021. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 November 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The closure is required whilst Thames Water new connection works take place commencing on 18 October 2021 between 08:00 and 16:00. Road will remain clsoed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 October 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

COMMONS ACT 2006 SECTION 15(1) - Notice of an application for the registration of land as Town or Village Green: To every reputed owner, lessee, tenant or occupier of any part of the land described below, and to all others whom it may concern. Notice is hereby given that Buckinghamshire Council proposes to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to:
Introduce
- Static - Disabled Badge Holder bays, Limited Waiting 2 Hours No Return 2 Hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, No waiting 6pm-8am Except Taxis, No waiting at any time, No waiting at any time/No loading Monday-Friday 7am-10am and 4pm-6.30pm, No waiting/no loading at any time, Permit Holder only.
- Speed - 30 miles per hour (mph), 40 mph, 50 mph and apply national speed limits on some sections of road where street lighting is present.
- Prohibition of movement - Introduce bus only lanes, No left turn, No U turn, Prohibition of motor vehicles.
Remove
- Static - Limited waiting mon-Fri 8am-5pm 2hrs no return within 4 hrs, Various no waiting restrictions and various Residents Permit bays.
- Prohibition of movement - Remove a no right turn, Removal of a bus lane. At various locations across the county.
