(Footpath 2, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of Hie Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 2, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with B1013 High Road, for its entire length (approximately 834 metres) in a northerly and north westerly direction, to its junction with footpath 1 and footpath 3. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14 October 2021 for 6 months, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing and is required for the safety of the public due to Closure on grounds of safety issue as identified by Network Rail.
The Order will come into effect on 14 October 2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barrow Hall Road, Little Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barrow Hall Road, Little Wakering in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 65m west of its junction with Little Wakering Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st November 2021 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZY0065102322 - E S Pipelines Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by E S Pipelines Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Little Wakering Road, Southend Road, Silchester Corner, Silchester Corner Roundabout, Barling Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21 st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Guernsey Gardens, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Guernsey Gardens, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Alderney Gardens to its junction with Station Avenue a distance of approximately 517m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st November 2021 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013211243 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Alderney Gardens, Swan Lane, The Broadway, Station Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21 st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Somerset Avenue, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1 To temporarily close that length of Somerset Avenue, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 20m north east of its junction with Ashingdon Road to its junction with Percy Cottis Road a distance of 155m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Somerset Avenue, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Percy Cottis Road to its junction with The Drive a distance of approximately 250m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 1st November 2021 for 54 days (1 at a time), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001092411 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Somerset Avenue, Ashingdon Road, Dalys Road, Malting Villas Road, The Drive and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21 st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.2) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stepping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 21 st October 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Virgin Media. The Order will come into effect on 21 st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Vicarage Hill, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 470m northeast of its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 205m in a northeasterly then southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005332 - Castle Point Borough Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation clearance works are undertaken by Castle Point Borough Council. An alternative route is available via High Road, Essex Way and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21 st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Crescent Road, South Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crescent Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 30m south east of its junction with Grove Road tor a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th October 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001090961 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Grove Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 7th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
