Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Rectory Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, 200m south of Madgements Road for a distance of 25m south.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/10/2021 to 20/10/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new foul water connection works S50-1713 are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Madgements Road, Lordsland Lane, Back Lane, The Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18/10/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Old Road, Wickham St. Paul) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Wickham St. Paul in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Green for a distance of approximately 156m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS217231 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Park Road, Catley Cross, Long Gardens, Sudbury Road, Old Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21 st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Potash Farm Road, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Potash Farm Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Nuntys Lane to its junction with Compasses Road a distance of approximately 71 Om. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd November 2021 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT027-E-TYCE - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. (Russells Road, Greenstead Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Russells Road, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 187m north west of its junction with Bournebridge Hill for a distance of approximately 115m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03057792727/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a 30mph Speed limit and Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.10) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 21 st October 2021, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. (Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.20) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Wafting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stepping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.
