Notice effective from
8th October 2021 to 7th November 2021

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 7A, Iver) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 made on 7 October 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 is hereby revoked. The effect of the Order which was due to come into operation on 8 October 2021 for 6 months was to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding in that length of Public Footpath No. 7A, Iver, from its southern limit for a distance of approximately 155m in a NE direction. The closure was required in the interests of public safety to allow the bridge carrying the footpath over the watercourse (Colne Brook) to be relocated to facilitate the widening of the M25 London Orbital Motorway, however the works will no longer be taking place and the temporary closure is no longer required.
The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Wethered Drive, Burnham and Candlemas Mead, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Wethered Drive and Candlemas Mead in their entire lengths. Alternative route 1: Wethered Drive and vice versa. Alternative route 2: Candlemas Mead and vice versa. The closure is required whilst resurfacing works take place commencing on 11 October 2021. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 October 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
Dated 8 October 2021
