ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Cambridge Road, Richmond
(Ref: 21/160)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Cambridge Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cambridge Road from its junction with Mortlake Road north-eastwards for a distance of 70 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 11 October 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 11 October 2021 until 15 October 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Mortlake Road, Kew Road and Gloucester Road.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Colne Road, Twickenham
(Ref: 21/166)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate structural surveys and works to the railway bridge they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Colne Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Colne Road from its junction with Heath Road to a point outside the eastern boundary of the rear of No. 180 Heath Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 9 October 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 00.01 on 9 October 2021 until 06.00 on 11 October 2021, and nightly between 22.00 and 06.00. from 11 October until 06.00 on 22 October 2021. The order will remain in Force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Heath Road, The Green, Knowle Road, Colne Road, Crane Road, Edwin Road, Marsh Farm Road and Colne Road

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Acorn Close, Hampton

3. The order will come into effect on 12 October 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 12 October 2021 until 15 October 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

CHURCH ROAD AND HAM GATE AVENUE, HAM

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time:-

(a) Ham Gate Avenue between its junctions with Upper Ham Road and the eastern kerb-line of Church Road,

(i) on its southwestern side; and

(ii) on various lengths of its north-eastern side

(b) Church Road, from its junction with Ham Gate Avenue, to its junction with Latchmere Close.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 23 PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING HOSPITAL BRIDGE ROAD, WHITTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to install a zebra crossing in Hospital Bridge Road under powers conferred by Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The controlled area of the crossing will be sited from a 15 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Stirring Avenue, northwards for a distance of 45 metres.

3. A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice, quoting reference 21/170 at: -

RAISED CROSSING HOSPITAL BRIDGE ROAD, WHITTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to install a raised zebra crossing in Hospital Bridge Road, Whitton.

2. The controlled area of the crossing will be sited from a point 11 metres south of the junction of Nelson Road extending for some 27 metres southwards. The table will be sited some 11 metres south of Nelson Road, with a length, including ramps of 9.42 metres. The ramps will have a 1:20 gradient.

3. A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice, quoting reference 21/076 at: -

(SHARED USE) (LOADING PLACES AND TAXI RANKS) (No. 1) ORDER 2021
HILL STREET, RICHMOND

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 6 October 2021 made the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce a shared use loading bay and cab rank operating as follows:-

(a) Between 7pm and midnight and between midnight and 7am on all days of the week, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle, except taxis, to stop on the north-eastern side of Hill Street from a point outside the party wall of Nos 40/50 and No 52 Hill Street south-eastwards for a distance of 16 metres; and

(b) Between 7am and 7pm on all days of the week no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait, except for the purposes of loading or unloading with a maximum stay of 20 minutes, and no return within an hour on the north-eastern side of Hill Street from a point outside the party wall of Nos 40/50 and No 52 Hill Street south-eastwards for a distance of 16 metres.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
