(Rectory Road, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Rectory Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, 200m south of Madgements Road for a distance of 25m south.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/10/2021 to 20/10/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new foul water connection works S50-1713 are undertaken. The alternative route will be via Madgements Road, Lordsland Lane, Back Lane, The Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18/10/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 290m south west of its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 55m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th November 2021 for 1 night (01:00-07:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735BRA-19-76-071121 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track geometry works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Bulford Mill Lane, Bulford Lane, Witham Road, The Green, The Street, Station Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bulford Lane to its junction with Claude Ince Avenue a distance of approximately 1465m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st November 2021 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2296401 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, Braintree Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Park Road, Wickham St. Paul) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Wickham St. Paul in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 270m south east of its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 345m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC9CV91CA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Park Road, Sudbury Road, Catley Cross, Long Gardens, Old Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Soft Road, Belchamp Walter) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Soft Road, Belchamp Walter in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 330m west of its junction with Gesbngthorpe Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th October 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010621021 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Soft Road, Chapel Hill, Gestingthorpe Road, Soft Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Street, Pebmarsh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of The Street, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Water Lane for a distance of approximately 130m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd November 2021 for 1 day, or where staled on a valid permit (AD03058637338 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Cross End, Pebmarsh Road, Upper Green, Lower Green, Lamarsh Road, Alphamstone Road, Henny Road.Twinstead Road, Moat Lane, Loshouse Farm Road, Lorkin's Lane, Church Road, The Green, Sudbury Road, Long Gardens, Catley Cross, Oak Road, Clay Hills and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.19) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 30th September 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear. The Order came into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
