ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 COURT HILL. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main works on behalf of SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Court Hill.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Court Hill will be closed between the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 and the common boundary of Nos. 66 and 68 Court Hill.
3. Whilst the closure is place the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Court Hill, Purley Downs Road, Sanderstead Hill, Glebe Hyrst, Shaw Crescent, Brian Avenue, Rectory Park and Westfield Avenue, and vice versa. Access for residents will be maintained.
4. The Order will come into operation on 13 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 15 November 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

LONDON ROAD. CROYDON & THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to replace cycle lane pole cones, they have made Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in London Road, Croydon and Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place;
a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in the northbound cycle lane in London Road between its junctions with Pemdevon Road and Broughton Road;
b) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in the southbound cycle lane in London Road between its junctions with Earlswood Avenue and Broad Green Road.
3. During the closures cyclists will be required to dismount and use the footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 6 days (three days in each section). However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BENSHAM GROVE. THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tree cutting works, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Bensham Grove, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place in Bensham Grove:-
a) Bensham Grove will be closed between its junction with Northwood Road and the south-eastern boundary of No. 92 Bensham Grove;
b) Parking within the above section of road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.
3. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Beulah Road, Parchmore Road, and Northwood Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BIGGIN HILL. UPPER NORWOOD
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Biggin Hill.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Biggin Hill will be closed at its junction with Beulah Hill. Note: during the closure the bus stops on Beulah Hill either side of the junction with Biggin Hill will be suspended (Stops 13221 SA and 13220 NL) and the pedestrian crossing will be closed and replaced with a temporary crossing.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
- Via Beulah Hill, Norbury Hill, Covington Way, Bigginwood Road, St Oswald's Road and Biggin Hill (and vice versa).
- Via Beulah Hill, Downsview Road and Biggin Way (and vice versa).
4. The Order will come into operation on 22 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within approximately one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROSSWAYS. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate repairs to a leaking water main in Selsdon Park Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Crossways, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, vehicles will be banned from turning right into and out of Crossways, South Croydon.
3. Whilst the restriction is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Gravel Hill and Crossways, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 23 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately eight days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS HOWDEN ROAD & SOUTH NORWOOD HILL. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate replacement of an outside stop valve on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Howden Road and South Norwood Hill.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Howden Road will be closed between the junction with South Norwood Hill and a point 30 metres north-east of that junction;
b) Vehicles proceeding in South Norwood Hill will be banned from turning into Howden Road;
Note: the bus stop outside No. 123 South Norwood Hill will be suspended.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for traffic will be via Howden Road, Auckland Road, Woodvale Avenue and vice versa, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

LION GREEN ROAD. COULSDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water main connection works on behalf of SES Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Lion Green Road, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Lion Green Road will be closed between the north-western boundary of No. 8 Lion Green Road and the common boundary of Nos. 23 and 24 Lion Green Road.
3. Whilst the restriction is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Farthing Way, Brighton Road, Foxley Lane, Smitham Bottom Lane, Woodcote Grove Road and Lion Green Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
