(Tour of Britain Women's Road Race) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council In exercise of powers under Section 16(A-C) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has made the above Order to facilitate the Tour of Britain road race.
Effect of the orders: To temporarily close the following lengths of road in the County of Essex.
Stage 5 - Northern Gateway - Colchester - A137 Parsons Heath, Fox Street, A137. Ardleioh - B1029 Station Road, B1029 Rating Road. Tendering/Great Bromley - B1029 Brook Street, B1029 Parsons Hill, Harwich Road. Elmstead Market - A133 Clacton Road, B1027 Colchester Main Road. AlresforrJ/Thorrington -B1027 Clacton Road, B1027 Bypass Road, Jaywick Lane. Jaywick Sands - West Road, Marine Parade West, Marine Parade East. Holland-on-Sea - B1032 Frinton Road. Great Holland - B1032 Main Road, B1032 Kirby Road. Kirby Cross - B1033 Thorpe Road. Thorpe-le-Soken - B1414 Landermere Road. Beaumont cum Moze -B1414 Harwich Road. Great Oakley - Wix Road, Harwich Road. Wix - Bradfield Road, The Street. MisBey - B1352 Harwich Road, B1352- High Street, Colchester Road. The closures are scheduled to commence on 08 October 2021 for limited times (rolling roadblock) between the hours of 10.45am until 4.30pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, these closures are required to facilitate the Women's Tour of Britain road race.
The alternative route/s - adjacent roads will be available for use as diversions including A12, A120, and A133. Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Orders will come into effect on 08 October 2021 and may continue in force for one day.
(Buckley's Lane, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Buckley's Lane, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Tey Road for a distance of approximately 155m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01459238605 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while boundary box installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Buckleys Lane, Coggeshall Road, The Street, Burnt House Road, Burnthouse Road, Earls Colne Road, America Road, Coggeshall Road, Colne Road, Tey Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 7th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Stoneham Street, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stoneham Street, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Robinsbridge Road to its junction with Queen Street a distance of approximately 150m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2021 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT036-E-TYRC - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. An alternative route is available via Stoneham Street, Tilkey Road, Jaggards Road, Queen Street, Vane Lane, Church Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 7th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
