(Fambridge Road, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily close that length of Fambridge Road, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 315m south east of its junction with Blind Lane for a distance of approximately 41 Om in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th October 2021 for 1 night (starting at 19:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M22787 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while interim to permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Fambridge Road, LimebrookWay, Wycke Hill, Maldon Road, Oak Corner, Southend Road, Maldon Road -B1418, Hyde Lane, White Elm Road, Main Road, Priory Road, The Street, Bumham Road, Woodham Road, Lower Bumham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(King Street, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of King Street, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with Queen Street for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M28492 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover renewal works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via King Street, Cross Road, Fambridge Road, Warwick Road, King Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Plains Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plains Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 130m south east of its junction with Chapel Road for a distance of approximately 180m in a south easterly direction and again from its junction with Beckingham Road for a distance of approximately 185m in an easterly direction. The closures are scheduled to commence on 18th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS253322B & A- Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Rectory Lane, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 305m north of its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 230m in a northerly direction. The closure Is scheduled to commence on 18th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30042482385 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Rectory Lane, Maldon Road, Oak Corner, Burnham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.6) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Areas) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30th September 2021 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th October 2021 for 8 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005132 - M Anderson Construction Ltd). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new roundabout installation works are undertaken by M Anderson Construction Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Limebrook Roundabout, Wycke Hill, Ben Cobey Avenue, Maldon Road, Oak Corner, Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Pump Lane, Fambridge Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Loamy Hill Road, Tolleshunt Major) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Loamy Hill Road, Tolleshunt Major in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 70m north west of its junction with Witham Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS267049A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Scraley Road, Heybridge in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 265m south east of the junction with Rowan Drive for a distance of approximately 280m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBMGC78Y003 - Openreach).
