Definitive Map Modification Order 2013
On 27 February 2014, the North York Moors National Park Authority confirmed the above order under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by correctly recording the line of the bridleway up Crossett Bank and adding a footpath to link with the existing footpath coming up from Low Crossett as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at North York Moors National Park Authority, The Old Vicarage, Bondgate, Helmsley, York, YO62 5BP until 23 April 2014. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased there at a reasonable cost or by contacting Paula Morris, Legal Services, Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, YO11 2HG. The Order came into force on 27 February 2014 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, make an application to the High Court.
