Fisher German on behalf of Severn Trent Water Limited has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Romer, Middle, Sallens, Pinkey Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are: to lay approximately 217 metres of water pipe with associated apparatus, the installation of a small water pump housed within a kiosk, and a short length of low voltage underground cable to provide power to the pump. All works are to take place within the roadside verges / adopted Highway adjacent to properties known as Little Birches and Pinkey Cottage with temporary barriers around excavations to Highway Authority specification to protect the health and safety of the public.
Due to Government advice in respect of Coronavirus (COVID-19), a copy of the application will not be left in a public area for viewing. However, a copy of the application form and accompanying documents may be obtained by emailing
