Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C2097 From C1061 Junction To School Lane, Hampton Charles, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C2097 From C1061 Junction To School Lane, Hampton Charles, triangle junction. Grid Ref: 360975/261639. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1059 onto C2088 onto Middle Common onto Bockleton and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new main works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of October 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 15 days.
