Herefordshire Council NOTICE OF MAKING
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A40 Bridge Maintenance Works September 2021 (21-198), Herefordshire, Temporary Closure Order 2021, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the roads shown in schedule 1 of the Order. The diversion routes for each closure will be signposted locally.
The said closures are required due to bridge maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said Order will come into force on the 21st September 2021 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 nights in the duration for each location as shown in Schedule 1 of the Order.
