Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72004, Kilforge Road, Bolstone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72004, Kilforge Road, Bolstone, approximately halfway between Hommer Corner and Bolstone Cottage. Grid Ref: 355297/232668. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Kilforge road onto the C1267, onto Witherstone Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th of October 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
