London Borough of Sutton Public Notices
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*; and
(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*
2. The principal objectives of the proposed Orders are; (a) to introduce disabled bays to provide a parking facility for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and revoke those parking bays that are no longer required; and (b) to ensure that the Orders match conditions as they exist on site.
3. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) provide new disabled person's parking places, 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a disabled person's badge may park at any time, at the following locations:-
(i) outside Nos. 50 and 52 Bernard Road, Wallington
(ii) outside Nos. 13 and 15 Bridle Path, Wallington (in place of the existing uncontrolled footway parking bay, 2 wheels on the footway)
(iii) opposite No. 28 Brown Close, Wallington
(iv) opposite Nos. 8 to 10 Burgess Road, Sutton (in place of existing permit holder only bay)
(v) outside Nos. 2a to 2c Constance Road, Sutton (in place of existing permit holder only bay)
(vi) outside Nos. 49 and 51 Peterborough Road, Carshalton (in place of the existing uncontrolled footway parking bay, 4 wheels on the footway)
(vii) outside Nos. 16 and 18Sorrento Road, Sutton (in place of existing permit holder only bay)
(viii) outside Nos. 81 and 83 Tharp Road, Wallington
(ix) outside Nos. 19-25 Whitehorn Avenue, Coulsdon
(x) outside Flats 1-16, No. 24 Mill Green Road, in Wolseley Road, Mitcham Junction
(b) provide new disabled person's parking place positioned in an echelon style 4.2 metres in length, and a width of 3.6 metres in which vehicles displaying a disabled person's badge may park at any time, in Antrobus Close, Sutton, at the rear of No. 45 Gander Green Lane, Sutton
(c) revoke existing disabled person's parking places at the following locations:-
(i) outside No. 32 and 34 Albion Road, Sutton (converting back to a permit holder only bay);
(ii) outside No. 5 Beddington Grove, Wallington;
(iii) outside No. 6 Belmont Road, Wallington;
(iv) outside No. 19 Blenheim Road, Sutton;
(v) outside Nos. 2-16 Bloxworth Close, Wallington; (converting back to an uncontrolled footway parking bay),
(vi) on the traffic island on Buckhurst Avenue, Carshalton (converting to an unrestricted footway bay, 4 wheels on the footway);
(vii) outside Nos. 51 and 53 Constance Road, Sutton (converting to a permit holder only bay);
(viii) outside No. 62 Dale Park Avenue, Carshalton;
(ix) outside No. 6 Godalming Avenue, Wallington;
(x) outside No. 70 Grennell Road, Sutton;
(xi) outside No. 29 Hunston Road, Morden (converting to an unrestricted footway bay, 4 wheels on the footway see 6(a) item (ii) below);
(xii) outside No. 57 Lower Road, Sutton (converting to a permit holder only bay);
(xiii) outside Nos. 34 and 36 Mellows Road, Wallington;
(xiv) outside No. 80 Park Hill, Carshalton;
(xv) outside No. 13 Priory Crescent, Cheam;
(xvi) outside Nos. 20 and 21 Shrubland Grove, Worcester Park;
(xvii) outside Nos. 1 and 2 Stanhope Road, Carshalton; and
(xviii) outside No. 70 Wigmore Road, Carshalton
(d) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) Order 2017 and to the Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 so as to more accurately represent the existing layout to match conditions as they exist on site.
Note: there will be no change to the restrictions as currently marked and signed on-street as a result of this amendment.
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.

6. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of London Borough of Sutton, as part of this proposal, and by the powers conferred under section 15 of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 is resolving the following:-
(a) Install lengths of uncontrolled footway parking at the following locations:-
(i) on the traffic island on Buckhurst Avenue, Carshalton (4 wheels on the footway) see 3(c) item (vi) above
(ii) outside No. 20 Hexham Road, Morden (4 wheels on footway);
(iii) outside No. 29 Hunston Road, Morden (4 wheels on footway) see 3(c) item (xi) above; and
(iv) outside Nos. 45 and 51 Peterborough Road, Carshalton
(b) removal of an existing length of uncontrolled footway parking at the following locations:-
(viii) outside No. 13 Bridle Path see 3(a) item (i) above
(ix) outside No. 27 Garendon Road Morden;
(x) outside No. 48 Garendon Road Morden;
(xi) outside Nos .95 to101 Garendon Road, Morden;
(xii) outside Nos. 102 and 104 Garendon Road Morden;
(xiii) outside No. 103 Garendon Road, Morden;
(xiv) outside No. 112 Garendon Road, Morden;
(xv) outside No. 116 Garendon Road, Morden;
(xvi) outside No. 148 Garendon Road, Morden;
(xvii) outside No. 5 Hartland Road, Morden;
