(Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames) (Land adjacent to 28 Willow Road. New Maiden KT3 3RS) Order 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, 2 High Street, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU (hereinafter called "the Council") has drafted an order pursuant to section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (hereinafter called "the Act") in respect of land measuring 70.28 metres squared and consisting of footpaths between the northern boundary line of property number 30 Willow Road and the southern boundary line of property number 28 Willow Road in the Royal Borough of Kingston Road ("The Order").
The effect of the Order would be that the said land would cease to be public highway.
On 26th July 2019 Planning Permission was granted by the Council (ref. No. 19/01081 /FUL) for a residential development including the land over which the footpaths run and is satisfied that it is necessary to stop up part of Willow Road by virtue of this Order.
The Council will formally consider any objections to the making of the Order which are submitted to it by 21st October 2021. Any objections must be in writing and sent to the South London Legal Partnership of at Gifford House 67c St Helier Avenue Morden SM4 6HY or by email to hassan.bokhari@merton.gov.uk quoting reference CS LEG HB 2581/35. A copy of the Order and a map defining the land to which it relates can be inspected at Council Offices at Reception, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1 EU, from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 4.45pm on Friday (excluding bank and public holidays) until the 21 st October 2021.
