Removal of Zebra Crossing, to be replaced by Puffin Crossing, B1007 Stock Road (North of Orchard Avenue), Billericay in the Borough of Basildon
Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to replace the following pedestrian crossing (Zebra) with a signal controlled pedestrian crossing (Puffin), B1007 Stock Road (North of Orchard Avenue), Billericay in the Borough of Basildon.
1. The existing Zebra Crossing on B1007 Stock Road (North of Orchard Avenue), Billericay is to be removed. The centre line of the Zebra crossing is approximately 26.6 metres in a north easterly direction from the centre of Orchard Avenue.
2. A Puffin Crossing is to be installed. The centre line of the Puffin crossing will be approximately 26.6 metres in a north easterly direction from the centre of Orchard Avenue. Extra low voltage equipment and lower-energy LED signals will be installed in order to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.

(A130 Canvey Way, Canvey Island/South Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of A130 Canvey Way, Canvey Island/South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from both of the junctions with Sadlers Farm Roundabout to both of the junctions with Canvey Way Roundabout a distance of approximately 4100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2021 for 2 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2274106 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while annual calibration and maintenance checks works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Church Road, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 150m south of its junction with St Peters Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS296128A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(A13 Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea/Vange Bypass, Fobbing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon from the point where the eastbound on slip from Broadway Link Roundabout is to the point where the Five Bells eastbound off slip Road for a distance of approximately 2710m.
2. To temporarily close the on slip road, from the Broadway Link Roundabout onto the A13 Pitsea Bypass a distance of approximately 282m.
3. To temporarily close that length of Vange Bypass, Fobbing from a point where the westbound on slip from Five Bells Roundabout North is to the A13 Vange Bypass a distance of approximately 2780m.
4. To temporarily close the on slip from Five Bells Roundabout North to the A13 Vange Bypass a distance of approximately 345m.
