ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) & (2) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wootton (Woodstock) Bridleway 2 Closure commenced: 27 August 2021 Date of Order: 13 September 2021 Comes into force: 17 September 2021 This Order continues in force a closure Notice introduced for public safety because of fallen rocks, the repair of which is anticipated to be completed in March 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Bridleway 2 (link no. 416/2/10) between Horseshoe Lane & Williams Hill. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T8742/MR (extension))

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Ascott-under-Wychwood, unnamed road from A361 to Station Road Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 13 September 2021 Coming into force: 20 September 2021 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway reconstruction works which are anticipated to be completed on 15 October 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic and waiting in the whole length of the unnamed road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road Traffic wishing to access Ascott-under Wychwood will be diverted further south along the A361 following it into Shipton-under-Wychwood, to turn back east into the Ascott Road, to turn and continue east into the Shipton Road, following this back to the far end of Oscar Road by the railway station in Ascott-under-Wychwood, and vice versa.. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T9202/RAG)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Hailey, Whitings Lane, Delly End Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 27 September 2021 Coming into force: 4 October 2021 This Order is being introduced because of fibre cable installation works which are anticipated to be completed on 27 October 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Whitings Lane and the unnamed section of road leading from the B4022 to Whitings Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via B4022 Charlbury Road, B4022 Road through White Oak Green, Witney Road, High Street, Lower End, Unnamed Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.
