Temporary Closure of Dudsbury Crescent, Ferndown
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Dudsbury Crescent, Ferndown between Woodacre Gardens and A347 New Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 270 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4 October 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26 November 2021. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to replace a Gas Main within the carriagway. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using A347 New Road, Dudsbury Avenue, Dudsbury Crescent and Vice Versa.
