Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1040 From Gilberts Farmhouse To B4361, Eyton, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily pro-hibit the use by vehicles on the CI 040 From Gilberts Farmhouse To B4361, Eyton, from Great Oaks to Gilbert Cottage. Grid Ref: 346618 / 261693. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4361 onto the A44 onto the B4360 via Kingsland onto the C1039 onto Lugg Bridge to the Holding Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to blockage removal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of October 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
