Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1219 Lower House Road To The Vroe Road Via Rowlestone, Rowlestone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1219 Lower House Road To The Vroe Road Via Rowlestone, Rowlestone, outside Cross. Grid Ref: 337359/227106. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via The Wigga onto Wern Ddu onto Prill Road onto B4347 onto A465 onto C1219 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new service installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of September 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
