Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1037, Hostel Lane, Kingsland, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use byvehicles on the C1037, Hostel Lane, Kingsland, from the junction of the A4110 east along Cobnash Corner for approximately 285 metres. Grid Ref 344281/260569. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4110 onto the B4360 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th of October 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to becompleted within 2 days.
